Crocoblock Year in Review 2021

Dear Crocoblockers, in this post, I want to sum up our 2021 results and share our plans for Crocoblock development in 2022.

⚡ Let’s start with top 2021 achievements:

In the upcoming year, here are a few plans we have:

  • #1 priority is our help center. We are planning huge knowledge base optimization and restructuring.
  • More deeply integration with Gutenberg editor.
  • Dynamic templates: updates and optimization.
  • Adding more features to our JetPlugins.
  • Creating more useful content on YouTube channel & blog.

Top 2021 JetPlugins Releases

JetFormBuilder

At the beginning of 2021, we released JetFormBuilder free WordPress plugin for Gutenberg, with primary and complex features. JetFormBuilder plugin is mostly free, but Pro Addons are available too.

YouTube Influencers shared their feedback and created valuable reviews and guides about JetFormBuilder:

JetEngine

Our primary focus was making JetEngine plugin the best dynamic WordPress plugin, and here is what we’ve added to JetEngine this year:

  • Dynamic Tables module
  • Dynamic Charts module
  • Query Builder functionality
  • Glossaries functionality
  • Listing Calendar block for the Gutenberg editor
  • Map Listing block for the Gutenberg editor
  • Ability to style JetEngine Gutenberg blocks with JetStyleManager plugin
  • Dynamic Tag to insert macros in a visual way
  • Check out more JetEngine updates in the changelog

JetMenu

We know JetMenu was complex and bulky to work with. At the core of the new JetMenu 2.1.0. is simpler UX, improved Mega Menu widget, reworked Admin panel, refactored JetMenu code, etc. 

JetSmartFilters

JetSmartFilters got a few major plugin’s updates, such features were added: 

  • Multi-sorting
  • Multiple query variable dividing by comma
  • Radio, Visual, CheckRange filters add additional settings
  • Alphabet filter
  • Range Filter
  • Date period date picker button text
  • Hide Elementor widget container if all items are hidden by indexer
  • Hamburger Panel ajax load template compatibility
  • Hide filter label if all items are hidden
  • More new features

JetReviews

JetReviews plugin also got its update with these features:

  • Added reCaptchav3 form verification
  • Made it possible for the visitors to change previously set ratings and likes on other reviews
  • Added pagination for reviews listing widget, reviews per page, and styling options
  • Ability to verify the authors of reviews and comments
  • Implemented opportunity to filter posts by JetReviews
  • New control for rating definition (as the widget’s option)
  • Now you can identify guests as the reviews’ authors with obligatory

JetAppointment

JetAppointment plugin got its long-awaited update with such features as:

  • Range and recurring schedule types
  • Price per feature (to set price per slot, hour, minute)
  • Multi booking
  • Provider price
  • Ability to edit and add appointments from the admin panel
  • Filter for searching and sorting appointments in the admin panel
  • Slot Duration, Buffer Before Slot, Buffer After Slot of service and provider in the listing settings

JetProductGallery

In 2021, JetProductGallery got a few plugin’s updates, including:

  • Gutenberg edition
  • Style product gallery with JetStyleManager directly in Gutenberg editor
  • Self-hosted video in Gallery Slider widget handling
  • Photoswipe gallery image trigger type
  • Compatibility with Elementor Custom Breakpoint
  • Additional aspect ratio
  • Ability to display a gallery from various sources
  • Dynamic tags functionality
  • Option to hide the featured image from widgets
  • Pagination indent controls

JetWooBuilder

JetWooBuilder plugin for Elementor also received a bunch of new features:

  • Custom field functionality to Cart Table widget
  • Fields manager for Checkout Billing & Shipping forms
  • JetAdminBar module
  • Stock Status order to Products Grid/List widgets
  • Currency sign separate style controls
  • Compatibility with JetEngine Query Builder
  • Controls for templates layout

Integrations & Collabs

In 2021, we’ve integrated more JetPlugins with Gutenberg editor, JetFormBuilder, JetBooking, JetAppointment, JetStyleManager, JetProductGallery – joined Gutenberg plugins collection from Crocoblock Devs. 

We’ve tried our best to collaborate and integrate with the most-used WordPress themes and plugins. So this year brought us integrations with:

2021 brought us amazing collaborations with YouTubers, and we’ve created: 7 videos with Paul C from WPTuts, and one video tutorial with Pieter from The Ultimate WordPress Guide Tutor.

Moreover, in 2021, we also continued website redesign and created/updated loots of useful website pages:
